Northern Marmara Highway

Thanks to this technology, a total of 1,533 cameras have been positioned along the entire highway route, including 1,397 on the highway and 136 in tunnels. Additionally, there are 94 Variable Message Signs (VMS-DMI), 171 Variable Traffic Signs (VTS-DTI) with 93 on the highway and 78 in tunnels, 77 Traffic Counting Sensors (TSS), 1,137 Fog Warning Systems (SUS), 23 Meteorological Stations, and SCADA Tunnel/Highway Security System data. These are monitored 24/7 from 1 main and 3 sub-control centers, ensuring highway traffic safety is maintained, and incidents are quickly addressed, providing uninterrupted, comfortable, and high-standard highway traffic services.
